» CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character NAME: Reyna
Canon & MEDIUM: Heroes of Olympus, Book
Canon PULL-POINT: End of the novel
Character AGE: ~16 - 17
Character ABILITIES: Reyna hasn’t shown any extraordinary abilities like most Demi-Gods. As her mother is a Goddess of War, it is presumed that Reyna has a fierce knowledge of warfare and tactical strategies, however it can’t be said for sure. Regardless of this, Reyna is definitely a strong soldier, as she became the Praetor of Camp Jupiter quickly, and is highly respected amongst the Legion. She is good at horseback combat, or rather: pegasus backed combat.
Character HISTORY: http://camphalfblood.wikia.com/wiki/Reyna
Character PERSONALITY: Outwardly, Reyna is cold and intimidating. She distances herself from most people, in an attempt to keep from growing too attached to them. Her icy exterior lasts until you have gained her trust, which is difficult to say the least. Through all that she’s been through, Reyna finds it difficult to trust others and will treat them coldly until she deems they are worthy to be treated her equal.

She is very strong willed, which helps more than it hinders with her status as Praetor to the Roman Army. While tactful and level-headed, Reyna rarely backs down unless it is in the best interest of her family. Her army. She easily fell into the role of soldier, thanks to hereditary traits of her mother, and makes sure that others will look to her as a strong leader. That being said, however, she thinks of the camp as her family.

She is fiercely protective of her family and will sacrifice one to save the many. As long as her leadership qualities and tactics are not questioned in front of the legion. Once she trusts you, however, she lets down her guard just a little. While still strict, she is much less cold and a little more friendly. She will open up about doubts, worries, tactics... Many things that she would normally keep to herself. She admires those who are strong and strong willed like herself, and will generally open up to them easier than your run-of-the-mill John Doe. Their strength, after all, reflects on their character.

The last thing one would want to do with Reyna is make an enemy of her. Her usual cold demeanor will frost over even more and she does not forgive and forget easily. She is a dangerous ally, but a far more dangerous foe.

» EXSILIUM INFORMATION
Chosen WEAPON: Reyna will gravitate towards a well balanced spear, as it would be most similar to the weapon she is most practiced with at home.

Chosen SKILLSET: Leader or commander first and foremost, as her status as Praetor of the New Roman Army will attest to. If need be, however, she would be an excellent fighter.

First PERSON:
[The feed cuts on with a somewhat perplexed, though very stone faced, teenager staring at it. Her dark eyes watch the feed for a moment as she gathers what she’s going to say.]

I’m sure this is an excellent cause.... But there are also excellent causes happening back home, and it’s in my best interest to return.

[She pauses thoughtfully, the frown unchanging.]

On that note... Perhaps I should seek a familiar face if I’m to be here for any period of time?

Third PERSON:
Oh how she wished Aurum and Argentum were here with her this moment. Reyna could feel her hand twitch, as though she were instinctively trying to find the automaton dogs to pet them, to assure herself they were there. Except they weren’t. Her faithful automatons were nowhere to be found, nor was Scipio. Her pugio was even missing, which enraged her almost as much as the loss of her pets.

The weight of the spear in her hand was foreign to her, as she switched it from hand to hand in a weak attempt to become more accustomed to it. The woman in front of her was telling her something, but the Praetor was far too engulfed in her own thoughts to pay any proper attention to her. She would make a small nod now and then to ensure that she was listening, but offered no verbal acknowledgments.

She would ask questions later, as soon as she was assured this was not a trick nor a dream, for it all seemed so far fetched. She hoped with all her might that it was just a dream. While Percy was competent, Octavian would still try to test his boundaries... Try to blow up the Greeks on their way, or something equally as foolish. No, there was only so much faith she could have in Percy, and there was only so much disappointment she could take. She had been so close to reuniting with Jason after all that time....

Sticking the spear into the ground with a regal finality, Reyna’s cold gaze lifted back up on the woman. “How much longer is this to take? There are people I need to look for.”

She hardly cared that she had cut the woman off mid-sentence, or that her voice was frosty and hardly polite. She only cared to learn if Jason or Percy were there, and may the Gods watch over them if Octavian managed to be pulled in as well.
